David Cash ("The Bad Samaritan") Letter
Summary: Write a well developed letter of at least two paragraphs discussing whether or not you believe David Cash should be punished in some way for his actions (or lack of actions) on the occasion of the murder of Sherrice Iverson. Think about the following questions: What do you think should have governed Cash’s actions? What obligations does a person who witnesses another wrong have? Are there different rules depending on the nature of the “wrong”?

2. Type 3 writing (first draft) due tomorrow.
3. Read your writing aloud in class and rewrite for the next day.
